Arsenal FC revisited
After 6 consecutive defeats and dumped out of major competition, Arsenal is in morale crisis. Sheer elegance in build-up but failure to score at the end cost them dearly – out of European Championship, FA Cup, League Cup and possibly a 5th spot that might mean no Champions League next season.
Building on the belief of youth over experience, I believe Wenger is confronted with the realism that experience is that extra “oomph” that ensures the lasting distance. Experience is something that time and circumstances tempered into solid steel. The tenacity and gumption that keeps at it despite the odds.
That means, perhaps, one should learn to balance both youth and experience by learning to blend them together. That would be helpful
