Transfer Frenzy
It’s that time of season again where clubs in EPL are frantically buying and selling footballers to try and succeed with silverwares at the end of the season. Of course, big clubs with financial clouts are going to get what they want regardless of the cost.
The latest club with megabucks owners is that of Manchester City. Mark Hughes is delighted puppy to have cash on hands to get what he wants to set up his dream team. Of course the flip side is that he might end up with nightmarish team too. At least for now, he has up-ended Chelsea to bag Robinho at hefty cost from Real Madrid. So I think now Man City is the team to watch this season given the new ownership.
Newcastle might lose its favorite manager Kevin Keegan if crisis talk isn’t resolved. CNN purportedly states that Keegan was sacked. I think it will make the fans hopping mad about it. Keegan is a good player and if the board and owner backs him, Newcastle could easily play in European competition real soon. Too bad, I’m not rich enough to be the owner.
